One Fruit

One apple yet clings to my apple tree,

including a wormhole, as you can see;

hang on, little apple, till maturity:

one fruit can make a difference.

One fruit in a garden was all it took,

 a woman gave ear to a serpent's rook;

the couple lost life when they partook:

one fruit can make a difference.

One fruit on a fig tree was all that was needed

to ward off a curse, to block it, impede it;

yet leaves of self-service its vigor depleted:

one fruit can make a difference.

One fruit in a life, reaching toward nine,

yield to the spirit, obey and align;

despise not small starts; abide in the vine:

one fruit can make a difference.
